Chapter 3 Operation

3.5.2 The redundant power supply model

In this configuration, there is a redundant power supply with two modules which are

hot-swappable. To replace the redundant power supply module, please follow these

instructions:

1. Turn off the power switch of the failed power supply module. Then loosen the

screw on it and then grab the handle to gently pull it out. (see Figure 3.11 & Fig-

ure 3.12)

2. Make sure that the new power supply module is the same rating as the currently

installed one.

3. Slide the new power supply module inward until it locks into the right position.

4. Secure the screw and replace the handle.
