A.3 Capture and Playback on your PC

A.3.1 Capture Video Data

When you click the “REC” button, the DVR client will start to record the

incoming video onto your PC’s hard disk. The DVR client creates a

“stream_files” folder where the file is located. When the client is record-

ing, the Capture & Play status indicator shows “REC” as the current sta-

tus.

A.3.2 Playback

After recording is finished, click the “Play” button to play the recorded

video stream. You will also see a stream file list of the video stream files

previously captured.
