Chapter 1 Overview

1.6 System Memory

ASMB-922I has eight 240-pin memory slots for DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz memory

modules with maximum capacity of 128 GB (Maximum 16 GB for each DIMM).

ASMB-922I supports registered DIMMs or unbuffered DIMM with ECC / Non-ECC

memory module.

1.7 Memory Installation Procedures

Step 1

To install DIMMs, first make sure the two handles of the DIMM socket are in the

“open” position. i.e. The handles lean outward.
