4.3 CMOS Clear for External RTC (JP3)

4.4 COM-port Interface

The panel PC provides two serial ports,COM1 : RS-232, COM2:RS-232/

422/485 (in one COM port connector)

4.4.1 COM2 RS-232/422/485 setting (JP4)

COM2 can be configured to operate in RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 mode.

This is done via J4 settings.

Warning: To avoid damaging the computer, always turn

off the power supply before setting “Clear

CMOS”. Set the jumper back to ìNormal opera-

tionî before turning on the power supply.
