The power source into this module is 5volt only. There are only

three pins being used in the serial port interface:

Pin 2: TxD

Pin 3: RxD

Pin 5: Ground

In another words, this serial port is defined as DCE, therefore,

we can use straight-through cable to connect it to serial port of

most computers because they are defined as DTE.
