2.3 Installing Add-on Cards

To install a half-sized CPU card or an add-on card, please proceed as

below.

1. Select a vacant slot on the backplane and remove its corresponding

I/O bracket attached to the rear plate of the chassis.

2. Insert a half-sized CPU card or an add-on card into the slot. Fasten

the card with a screw on the top of the I/O bracket.

3. Repeat these steps if there is more than one card.

4. For a half-sized CPU card, connect the power switch, reset switch,

power LED, and HDD LED cables to the CPU card.
